I always joked that I hate going to the Ob-GYN bc they rudely take you to second base without buying you a drink or playing Barry White with ambient lights turned dimly. Then I met Dr Windom, referred to me by a girlfriend who was able to cry on his shoulder after miscarrying twins. That story sold me to his character and heart for people. I have found that over the years, he has become a physician who cares about ME and not just the health and well-being of my nether regions :) He takes time to chat and make you feel comfortable and genuinely wants you to be as well informed about your options as you can be. He has progressed from my OB to my friend because he's that one doctor who cares about his patients on a personal level. This is something money can't buy. Even though I live further away now, I will still make the trip to his office bc there's no one else I'd rather have poking around down there on a yearly basis. I've even joked that i might need to get pregnant just so that i can see more of him and his awesome staff. That remains to be seen. Thank you Dr Windom for making each experience less awkward and more pleasant by being you and for making it a human interaction of substance and value. I appreciate you! I always feel like Dr. T really listens and gets to know his patients. He is extremely gentle in his exams and always explains what he is going to do. He and his staff never make you feel like you are bothering them even if you need something or have a question between appointments. Highly recommend.
