Michele graduated from North Georgia College and State University in 1995 with her Nursing Degree. After working as a Labor and Delivery nurse for many years, Michele decided to pursue a career in Midwifery. Michele graduated Sigma Theta Tau, Magna Cum Laude from Emory University in 2006 with a Masters of Science in Nursing and with a Midwifery Certification. She was immediately asked to join the staff of OB-GYN Associates.

Michele lives in Woodstock with her husband and son. In her free time she enjoys traveling (anywhere and everywhere), spending time with family and friends, and volunteering as a Young Life Leader at Sequoyah High School in Cherokee County.
