Christy graduated from Athens Technical College in 2000 with her Associate Degree in Nursing. After graduation, Christy worked as a Postpartum and Labor and Delivery nurse for five years. She graduated from Emory University in 2006 with a Master of Science in Nursing and subsequently sat for her midwifery certification boards in early 2007.

Christy gained experience in a diversity of settings and joined our team in 2010. Christy resides in Athens with her husband, Colm, and her children, Sage and Roan.
